What is the Me, Inc Retreat?

Me Inc is a conference-style event with a focus on empowering and inspiring women in the workers' compensation industry to prioritize self-love and wellness in their daily lives. We've also included a special session just for men, led by Eight, where it'll dive into men's health and wellness. Expect to hear from some amazing speakers, take part in workshops, make valuable connections, and engage in interactive sessions throughout the event.

    No, there will be NO CEU credits available.

    Tickets can be purchased on our website or at the button below. Please Note: Free tickets are available for risk managers, adjusters, claims managers, case managers, and other claims handlers courtesy of our sponsors. If you are a service provider, you are required to purchase a ticket or sponsor to attend.

    Yes, every year we choose a different cause to support.
  • Are there sponsorships available?

  • What makes the Bloom Awards special?
    Our award gala has earned the nickname "The Academy Awards" of the workers' compensation world because it's a night where our industry gets dressed in their best gowns and suits and celebrates red carpet style.
  • If I win, how will I receive my award?
    All winners are cordially invited to attend the gala along with a guest, at no cost. If you are unable to attend, your certificate will be emailed to you. Additionally, winners have the option to order a plaque from our website; this is entirely optional. Winners will also be entered into the BLOOM winner circle, which can be added to your email signature. All winners are notified in advance and are given the choice to attend the gala. Plus all winners will be featured in Bloom magazine!
  • When did the Bloom Awards begin?
    The Bloom Awards, formerly known as the IN TOUCH Awards, began in 2011 by the founder Mari Diaz, who wanted to find a way to honor and celebrate the people in the workers' compensation industry.
  • How does the selection & voting process work?
    Annually, nominations are open to workers' compensation professionals nationwide. Once all nominations are collected, a dedicated voting link is provided, allowing industry professionals to cast their votes for their preferred nominees. After the voting period concludes, the votes are collected and weighed by region. Subsequently, the results undergo review by our advisory board. It's essential to note that Bloom does not select the winners of the Awards; they are determined solely by votes from individuals within the workers' compensation industry.
  • Who can nominate for the Bloom Awards?
    Anyone who is part of the workers' compensation community can nominate a colleague, company, or client.

    Women and men from all sectors of the workers' compensation field, including risk managers, adjusters, and nurses, will be in attendance.

    No, it's not included. You can coordinate with our travel agent or book independently.
  • What is the cost per person?
    $1,945.00 (double occupancy).

    Yes, transportation is included.

  • What are the dates of the retreat?
    Departure from the US is scheduled for April 10th, with arrival in Italy on April 11th.

  • Can I invite a guest?
    Yes, you can invite a guest. The more our group grows, the lower our group rate goes.
  • Do I need a passport?
    Yes, a passport is required for this retreat. Please make sure that your passport is up to date.
  • Will there be a payment plan?
    Yes! Please make monthly payments until November 2024 for added flexibility.
