Tim English didn’t set out to become a workers' compensation attorney. In fact, his original dream was to become a sports agent. But life had other plans—and today, he's a dedicated advocate for injured workers across California. As co-founder of Wiesner English, P.C., alongside partner Marc S. Wiesner, Tim brings both legal expertise and heartfelt compassion to every case, guiding injured workers through what is often a confusing and frustrating system.

Founded in the fall of 2021, Wiesner English, P.C. was built on a shared mission: to ensure applicants receive timely and fair medical treatment and compensation for lost wages. In a system that often favors insurance carriers and third-party administrators, Tim and his team are committed to leveling the playing field and advocating for the rights of workers who might otherwise fall through the cracks.
Tim’s journey into this niche area of law began when he pivoted from representing employers to helping individuals. At first, he was concerned about being boxed into a narrow field, but he quickly realized that workers’ comp was exactly where he was meant to be. The role offered him the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives, to practice efficiently, and to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
What drives Tim is the deeply rewarding feeling of helping clients overcome systemic barriers. Whether it’s winning a difficult wage fight or securing long-delayed medical treatment, each success reaffirms his commitment to the work. One standout moment in his career was winning a 100% disability judgment for a client through trial—a powerful reminder of the impact he can have when the system works as it should.
Tim’s advocacy extends beyond the courtroom. He’s a member of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association (CAAA), where he continues his legal education and participates in industry events like Lobby Day. These efforts reflect his desire not just to represent clients, but to help improve the system as a whole.

Looking forward, Tim hopes to see a shift back to what the workers' compensation system was originally designed to do: provide swift, fair benefits and meaningful medical care to those who need it most. In his own practice, he’s embraced remote work to create more flexibility for both clients and staff—something that’s also allowed him to spend more time with his wife and young family. Outside the office, you’ll find him skiing, hiking, playing tennis, and soaking in the balance he’s worked so hard to build.
Tim English is more than just an attorney—he’s a passionate advocate for justice, a thoughtful family man, and a reminder that doing good work and living a good life don’t have to be mutually exclusive. Through Wiesner English, P.C., he continues to shape a more compassionate and equitable future for California’s injured workers.
